What is Hair Transplant?

Hair transplant is one of the miracle aesthetic operations of the medical world. It is one of the rare operations that can be had by anyone over the age of 18, regardless of whether male or female, and the results are permanent. The best results are obtained with it in patients with hair loss or baldness problems. The success rate of hair transplant is 99.99%. No artificial products are used, the process is performed using the patient’s own hair follicles. Thanks to the use of the patient’s own hair follicles, the patient’s body does not show any reaction.

The most commonly used hair transplant techniques in the world and in Turkey are FUE and DHI (Choi). Both methods are state-of-the-art and proven successful and are used by world-renowned doctors and specialists. Methods used in hair transplant do not have any superiority over each other. The method to be used in hair transplant varies depending on the patient’s hair loss and baldness.

Hair Transplant Techniques

Hairus Clinic uses the latest transplant techniques approved worldwide. By combining the latest techniques with the experience of doctors in Turkey, you can get your hair with natural methods with a success rate of 99.99%.

In our clinic, operations are not performed with the FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) method, which is an old technique.

Instead, your hair is transplanted with FUE and DHI methods. We safely transplant your hair with Safir FUE and Micro Safir DHI methods, which are advanced versions of these two methods.

What is FUE Technique?

FUE, the most widely used transplant technique today, is a minimally invasive. In the FUE technique; the doctor and specialist transplants the hair follicles collected from the back of your head with the help of a punch attached to the micro motor tip into the channels opened with the help of a sapphire or steel tip depending on the type of technique. Thanks to the sapphire tip used, the healing time is very fast with no visible scars in the transplantation area.

What is DHI Technique?

DHI is often used as an advanced version of FUE. The hair follicles collected from the donor area are directly transplanted into the transplantation area with the help of a special pen without the need to open a canal beforehand. Thanks to this special pen, the survival rate of hair follicles collected in DHI technique is higher than FUE. A more natural appearance is achieved with the DHI technique. Consult to yoru doctor for the best technique.

Who Can Have a Hair Transplant?

The issue of who is suitable for the operation varies depending on many criteria.

First of all, patients who apply to our clinic for hair transplantation undergo hair examinations. Patients with androgenetic alopecia, which we call male pattern and female pattern hair loss, are the most suitable candidates. It is the most common type of hair loss that men and women complain about. In such a case, the operation gives the best result.

Another situation we encounter is trauma-induced hair loss. For example, in cases such as burns in the hairy area, hair loss after an accident, the operation is the best option. (The operation can be performed in a scenario where the donor area is not damaged.)

It is also an important criterion that the patients who apply for hair loss and baldness are in good health and that the hair loss is in a certain order and level. Although there is no age-related limit, patients aged 25 and over have undergone the operation.
